During my career, I was a business consultant, a job that required me to spend 23 years traveling an average of four nights per week within and outside the USA. I slept on hundreds of different beds. While working, I spent less than 8 hours per day in bed, so I required a bed that would aid me in getting to sleep quickly, deliver an exceptional night’s sleep and have a positive effect on my body’s mechanics. My selection of hotel rooms was in no small part made on the quality of the beds.

After retiring, it became obvious our old “luxury” mattress at home was not acceptable in any criteria I used to choose hotel rooms. Also, the old mattress was causing lower back pain and no relief for my wife and I who both have arthritis. We did considerable research on many mattresses before buying the 2000T. We researched features and specifications, tested many of “luxury” and “new” technology beds and more importantly talked with people who had used these beds for at least a few years. The deciding factors on selecting a Hastens bed for us were: the time tested craftsmanship and durability that was evident in all Hastens beds; the support and comfort level the mattress displayed while molding to our bodies; the “feel” of the bed that projects the potential for improving/mitigating the impact of chronic health problems; the independent spring system that reduces the annoyance of bedmate movements and increases body support; and the exclusive use of natural materials.

We have been using the bed for a few months and we are very happy with the sleeping experience. We get to sleep quicker, awake more rested and without the pains that were usual occurrences while we were sleeping on our old bed. The cost of the bed was substantial but the quality of the sleep and the improvement in our chronic pain problems has been well worth the cost. We are looking forward to a long useful life for the Hastens bed with no degradation to the body support level based on other testimonials of long time users and Hastens 25 year warranty. The Hastens representatives were very knowledgeable in helping select the right bed for our body structures. We will be recommending Hastens beds to anyone considering a bed purchase.
